North Dakota opened the scoring in the first period with a fluke goal. O'Connor inadvertently kicked in the puck as he tried to cover the post on a strange carom off of the boards. Early in the second period, while skating 4-on-4, Wade Megan converted on a hard wrist shot, with Matt Grzelcyk and Cason Hohmann getting the assists. Later in the period, however, the BU defense broke down, leaving Danny Kristo all alone in front of the net. He waited until O'Connor committed, and then slid the puck through his pads.
The third period saw BU increase pressure, while North Dakota looked tired. With less than 6 minutes to go, O'Regan layed a beautiful drop pass for Nieto in the slot. Nieto wristed a shot past UND goalie Zane Gothberg. Then with just over two minutes to go, Alexx Privitera, made a nice rush up ice, and slipped a pass through a UND defender to Matt Lane. Lane cut to the middle and roofed the puck over Gothberg's shoulder, to give the Terriers the lead. Then just eleven seconds later, O'Regan intercepted a d-to-d pass deep in the zone, and slid the puck inside the far post, to cap the comeback.

Kerrin Sperry's 38 saves and a hat trick by Louise Warren helped #3 BU salvage a 5-5 tie with rival #8 Boston College at the Conte Forum. BC outshot BU 43-21. The Terriers record is now 7-2-1.
