Game Day: BU vs. UNH, round 2 --UPDATED

Terriers return to Agganis Arena for a 1:00 p.m. matchup with #5/6 New Hampshire, looking to reverse the result of the teams’ first meeting last month. A BU win would move the Terriers into second place in Hockey East.

The Wildcats have lost only once this season and goalie Casey DeSmith has blanked the past three opponents.Expected to start in goal for BU is Matt O’Connor,who played the final 25 minutes of UNH’s 4-1 win at the Whittemore Center. Only one other change in BU's line-up from Friday: Ryan Ruikka replaces Patrick MacGregor.

► In his post-game comments Friday night, Coach Jack Parker acknowledged the loud and supportive contingent of BU students who made the trip to Burlington, noting that BU has always "traveled well" but that in recent years BU has had even better support on the road.

Grant Rollheiser picked up his first pro win, backstopping the Utah Grizzlies to a 5-3 win against San Francisco in ECHL action. Rollheiser, who stopped 37 shots, had attended a Dallas Stars prospects camp this past summer.

John Curry posted his seventh win for Orlando (ECHL), turning aside 25 shots in a 4-2 win over Kalamazoo. 

Former Terrier captain Kevin Shattenkirk was among a group of St. Louis Blues players, who participated in a fundraising hockey game last night in St. Louis surburb Chesterfield, MO for Hurricane Sandy victims. The event was organized by Cam Janssen. Shattenkirk, a New York native, discussed the storm’s impact on his family in the St. Louis Today coverage.
