►Episode 18
of Inside BU Hockey features Bernie Corbett’s
interviews with Coach David Quinn junior Matt Lane (photo) and former Terrier forward Alex Chiasson.
Lane, who centers BU’s third line and sees both penalty-killing and power play
time, has six goals and six assists this season. The Rochester, N.Y., native
spent two seasons in the USA Hockey NTDP and was named one of the three top US
players for the 2012 World U18 Championships gold-medal winning squad.
Chiasson
spent three seasons as a Terrier, scoring 99 points (36G, 63A) and being named
Most Valuable Player in 2011-12 with a team-leading 46 points. The Montreal
native spent his first two pro seasons with Dallas, scoring 35 points last
season. He was traded to Ottawa in the off-season and has an 8-10-18 scoring
line for the Senators.

assistant captain Evan Rodrigues was a between-the-periods
guest during Wednesday’s Bruins broadcast on NESN.
►Junior
goalie Sean Maguire, who was forced to redshirt this season due to a
concussion, has returned to the ice. For now, he is a non-roster practice player.

Union-Leader looks ahead to the weekend
series between BU and New Hampshire. Puck drop for Saturday’s game in
Durham has been moved up from 7 p.m. to 4 p.m. due to another impending storm. The game had been set to air on both WBIN-TV and Fox Sports Atlantic. We'll update tomorrow on the game day post.
