Inside BU Hockey: Quinn, Lane, Chiasson; Maguire cleared to resume practice.

Episode 18 of Inside BU Hockey features Bernie Corbett’s interviews with Coach David Quinn junior Matt Lane (photo) and former Terrier forward Alex Chiasson. Lane, who centers BU’s third line and sees both penalty-killing and power play time, has six goals and six assists this season. The Rochester, N.Y., native spent two seasons in the USA Hockey NTDP and was named one of the three top US players for the 2012 World U18 Championships gold-medal winning squad.

Chiasson spent three seasons as a Terrier, scoring 99 points (36G, 63A) and being named Most Valuable Player in 2011-12 with a team-leading 46 points. The Montreal native spent his first two pro seasons with Dallas, scoring 35 points last season. He was traded to Ottawa in the off-season and has an 8-10-18 scoring line for the Senators.

►Junior goalie Sean Maguire, who was forced to redshirt this season due to a concussion, has returned to the ice.  For now, he is a non-roster practice player.

The Union-Leader looks ahead to the weekend series between BU and New Hampshire. Puck drop for Saturday’s game in Durham has been moved up from 7 p.m. to 4 p.m. due to another impending storm.
