Snow 1 Beanpot 0; E-Rod is Player of the Week



Winter Storm Linus, adding up to a foot of additional snow to New England, has forced the opening round of the 2015 Beanpot Tournament to be pushed back a day to Tuesday. Times remained unchanged and BU will meet Harvard in the early game with puck drop at 5 p.m. The Terriers will be the home team.

Senior Assistant Captain Evan Rodrigues, who tied a BU recordand set a Hockey East recordwith six assists against UMass, is Hockey East's Warrior Player of the Week. The right-shot forward is the fourth Terrier to earn P-O-W honors this season and joins previous winners junior Ahti Oksanen, freshman Jack Eichel and junior Danny O’Regan. Captain  Matt Grzelcyk and Eichel were named to the Hockey East Weekly Top Performers list.

Looking back
Adam Clendening, acquired by Vancouver from Chicago last week, made his Canucks debut last night in a 4-2 loss to Minnesota. The game featured three ex-Terriers with Nick Bonino skating for Vancouver and Charlie Coyle for the Wild.
