WEEI College Hockey Puckcast: Scott McLaughlin talks with
Head Coach David Quinn about the
upcoming series in South Bend against Notre Dame. Discussing a trio of
injured Terriers, Quinn indicated that things are looking good for junior Robbie
Baillargeon and sophomore Brandon Hickey to return this weekend, while senior
Sean Maguire, who has practiced, remains day-to-day.
► Three Terrier centers are in the top 10 in face off
percentage in Hockey East games: #4 Jacob Forsbacka Karlsson (.585), #6 Bobo Carpenter
(.580) and #10 Mike Moran (.557). Overall, BU is 2nd in the
conference and 5th in Division 1.
► Baillargeon has yet to take a single penalty this season, and is close to duplicating the penalty-free season of Brandon Fortunato last year. Before that, the last Terrier to accomplish the feat was Jack Parker in 1965-66.

The
Hockey News featured 2016 recruit Dante Fabbro in this week’s Prospect
Need to Know column.
And what made the Terriers the right play for the high-end two-way blueliner with a big shot?“The biggest thing was fitting in with the coaches,” Fabbro said. “The players down there are pretty special and they have some pretty good recruits coming in next year, so hopefully I can be a part of that and win a national championship some day.”
2017
recruit Patrick Harper had a hand in all three Avon Old Farm goals—scoring once
and adding two assists—as the top-ranked Winged Beavers defeated Pomfret, 3-1.
Harper is averaging 2.26 points per game and has a 17-35-52 scoring line.
