over Lowell, has repeated as Hockey East
Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week. He was recognized the previous week for a
pair of goals against UMass. Seniors Sean Maguire and Ahti Oksanen were named
to the weekly top performers list.
Following
their weekend split with the Lowell River Hawks, Terriers dropped two spots in both the
USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey
Magazine weekly polls and are currently #9. BU also slipped to 10th
in the PairWise
Rankings.

2016 recruit Kieffer
Bellows scored his 36th goal and added two assists in the U18s 5-2
win over the Czechs at the Five Nations Tournament in Finland. Clayton Keller contributed a goal and an assist while goalie Jake Oettinger made 14 saves for his 18th win.
Keller now has 80 points and joins
Phil Kessel as the only two NTDP players with two 80-point seasons. From USA

recruit David Farrance scored a tying goal in the third period for the U17s,
but Russia added two late goals to take a 5-3 win in the Five Nations
Tournament in Plymouth, Michigan. Brady Tkachuk assisted on a power play goal
for Team USA.
Led by a four-assist performance by Tyler Weiss
(Don Mills Flyers), three BU 2018 recruits figured in the scoring as Team USA
thumped host Norway at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. Jake Wise (Central
Catholic, photo) assisted on two goals and Jack DeBoer (Salisbury School) tallied a
goal and an assist. Team USA faces
Canada on Tuesday at 8 a.m. ET.

Sabres’ 4-1 win against Colorado was his 17th goal of the season,
tied for second best among NHL rookies. He has 38 points overall, tied for
second.

Women’s Team
Terriers completed a weekend sweep of New
Hampshire with a 6-2 win Sunday in Durham. Sophomore Victoria Bach and freshman
Sammy Davis (photo) each scored a pair of goals with single goals added by sophomore
Rebecca Leslie and junior Maddie Elia. In the final weekend of the regular
season, BU will face Northeastern with a chance to capture the second seed for
the conference tournament.
