Looking ahead

2023 recruit Shane Lachance scored twice in Youngstown's 3-1 win against Chicago. The 6'4" power forward opened the scoring with a shorthanded tally in the first period. In the second period, he stepped out of the penalty box and scored an unassisted goal to give the Phantoms a two-goal lead. A sixth round Edmonton draft pick in 2021, Lachance had an 11-12-23 scoring line in his first USHL season. 2024 recruit Macklin Celebrini assisted on the Steel's lone goal.

2024 recruit Kamil Bednarik scored his second goal in three games as the NTDP U17s blanked Johnstown, 4-0, in the opener of the NAHL Showcase. Fellow recruit Cole Hutson (#48) assisted on a pair of tallies.
