1. Yesterday we reported that it is too early for pairwise ranking. Not so fast. An alert blogreader—and longtime Terrier fan— forwarded a link to the RPIHockey.net site that shows all the major ranking systems—and some lesser known ones—and explains each one. Terriers are listed at third in PWR, RPI and KRACH, and, second in something called E-ratings.
The new USCHO rankings are out and the Terriers’ two wins moved them up to #7 with a home-and-home weekend series against #2 Boston College looming.
2. Former All American goalie John Curry’s Penguin teammate weren’t about to let his first NHL win escape the traditional recognition for such a milestone.
