The Terriers and Catamounts played a weekend series at Gutterson Field House in January with the Terriers scoring a pair of wins, 5-1 and 5-2. In that series Macklin Celebrini paced the offense with three goals while Lane Hutson had a goal and three assists. Jeremy Wilmer, Ryan Greene and Tom Willander each had three helpers.

Going into the game, BU is #5 nationally in goals/game (4.08), #8 in goals allowed/game (2.41) and #4 in scoring margin (1.66).

Since the 4-3 overtime loss to Northeastern in the Beanpot, BU has outscored opponents 23-7 in five games.

Vermont is 3-6-2 since facing the Terriers, including a 5-1 loss to UConn this past Thursday. They’ll finish ninth in Hockey East and will face the #8 seed in the preliminary round of the conference tournament.

The Catamounts offense is led by sopohomore Jens Richards with 10 goals and 21 points and grad student Jeremie Bucheler and Ryan Miotto each with 17points. Senior netminder Gabe Carrier, who has a 2.76 GAA overall and a 3.04 GAA in conference games, has started all 33 games for UVM.

The Terrier Hockey Fan Blog: 5-Star forward Cole Eiserman Flips His Commitment and Joins BU's 2024 Recruit Class

In his March NHL Draft Diary entry, Cole Eiserman discusses his team’s upcoming games, his pursuit of Cole Caufield’s all-time NTDP goal-scoring record, and his close friend Macklin Celebrini’s standout season. The two were linemates, two seasons ago as underagers on the Shattuck St. Mary’s Prep team. Macklin was the leading scorer with 117 points; Cole was third with 86, Aiden Celebrini was on the prep team as well.

The Daily Faceoff's look at goalies for the 2024 NHL Entry Draft includes 2025 recruit Mikhail Yegorov, who plays for the USHL’s last-place team, Omaha.

So, yeah, the record is awful. Three wins [now four] in 30 games? Yegorov’s transition to North America has been far from ideal, facing 30 or more shots in 21 outings this year. So it’s no surprise it’s been difficult, but scouts still see a ton of potential from the 6-foot-4 keeper. The size helps, but he battles so hard. He never gives up on a play, even with a terrible lineup in front of him. The Boston University commit is very athletic for his size and seems to stay focused no matter what. I could see Yegorov being one of the biggest goaltender steals of this draft because he has all the tools needed to succeed, but just doesn’t have the results.

2025 recruit Zach Morin scored his eighth goal and added an assist in Youngstown's 6-5 shootout loss to Muskegon. He has 16 points in his rookie season. Fellow recruit Sascha Boumedienne returned to the Phantoms' lineup after missing several games with an injury.

2024 recruit Cole Eiserman scored his team-leading 44th goal in the NTDP U18's 8-3 win against Augustana. Fellow recruit and linemate Kamil Bednarik recorded his 29th assist on that goal and his 30th later in the game.  Eiserman has 68 points, while Bednarik has 49.

2024 recruit Jack Pridham' s goal with eight second left in the third period tied the score, but West Kelowna  lost, 2-1, in overtime to Penticton. For the 6'2" power forward, who is tied for the BCHL rookie scoring lead with 41 points, it was his 19th goal.
