Two months and counting

The calendar says August, but with BU's exhibition game against St. Francis Xavier just two months away, Terrier fans can start looking ahead to next season and defending the NCAA championship.

Inside College Hockey has begun its annual College Hockey A-to-Z feature and one of the first players profiled is BU's top returning scorer, assistant captain Nick Bonino. Looking ahead to the coming season, the Connecticut native, who scored the dramatic game-tying goal in the national championship, told INCH:
Every player wants to pass their previous year’s points but what I was most proud of last year was plus-minus at plus-29 and not
getting scored on a lot. We lost a lot of firepower, but my focus is going to be to play as well as I can defensively and let the offense.”
Last season, BU's record was 25-0-3 in games in which Bonino had at least one point. His season totals were 18-32-50.
