The Boston Herald reports that TD Garden in Boston is bidding to host the 2015 and 2016 NCAA Frozen Four

Looking back
Alex Chiasson continues to thrive in the NHL since his call up from the AHL a week ago, scoring twice in the Dallas Stars 5-4 shootout win against San Jose on Sunday. The right wing from Quebec scored in both the second and third periods as the Stars twice erased two-goal Sharks’ lead to force overtime and a shootout.

Charlie Coyle scored his sixth goal of the season in Minnesota’s 3-0 win against Columbus, earning third-star honors.

Looking ahead
2014 recruit Jack Eichel has been named to the Team USA roster for the World U18 championships in Sochi, Russia. He joins Colin Wilson, Matt Nieto and other former Terriers who played in the World U18s in the U17 season..

Women’s Team
Two goals by Marie-Philip Poulin—including the game-winner—and one by former BU captain Jenn Wakefield propelled Team Canada to an 8-1 rout of Russia in the medal-round semifinal of the IIHF Women’s World Championships in Ottawa. Poulin and Wakefield each also added an assist, while former BU defender Catherine Ward recorded a pair of assists for Canada, which meets Team USA in tonight’s goal-medal game.
