Hockey East holds a slim 10-9 lead in the second annual Big 10-Hockey East Challenge. Terriers join the fray this weekend with home games against Michigan State (Friday) and Michigan (Saturday). Last season, BU played the same schools on the road, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Wolverines and a 3-1 decision to the Spartans.

Terriers moved up in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll from #13 to #11. They also gained two spots in the USCHO poll, going from #14 to #12. The SB Nation Hockey East Power Rankings currently have BU in the top spot.
