NHL.com’s preview of tonight’s All-American Prospects Game focuses on those players who also participated in USA Hockey’s National Junior Evaluation Camp last month, including freshman goalie Jake Oettinger.  The AAPG features 42 of the top US-born players eligible for the 2017 NHL draft. Commenting on the 6’4” netminder who had a 25-8-1 record and a 2.38 GAA with the NTDP U18s last season, Central Scouting’s Al Jensen said:

"There's a lot to like about his game. He's a big goalie. Covers a lot of the net. His positional play is very good. He's got a phenomenal butterfly, great rebound control. He's got that NHL net presence when you look at him."

► The AAPG at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center begins at 7 p.m. and is being live-streamed free by FastHockey. [Note: you’ll need to register for a FastHockey account; no charge involved].
