resumes today in the World Junior Summer Series in Plymouth Michigan. Canada
faces Sweden at 1 p.m. ET, while the U.S. takes on Finland at 4 p.m. Both games
air on NHL Network and TSN. The WJSS is a first step toward selecting teams for the 2018 World Junior Championships in Buffalo.

BU
has announced the Terriers’ full 36-game schedule for 2017-18, including 18
home dates and 24 Hockey East games. For
the first time, BU will play a regular season game in September with Union
visiting Agganis Arena on the 30th for the season opener. An
exhibition game vs. Prince Edward Island follows the next night. A second
exhibition game, on Jan. 5, brings the NTDP U18s and several future Terriers to
Agganis.
October
will see visits from first-time opponent Minnesota State (with former Terrier
Connor LaCouvee) and defending national champion Denver. BU’s Red Hot Hockey
rivalry with Cornell at Madison Square Garden will be renewed on Nov. 25.
Eight
games in January conclude with a two-game series against another new opponent,
Arizona State in Tempe, Ariz. In February, BU will seek its 31st
Beanpot crown beginning with a first-round game against Harvard.

►ESPN's John Buccigross reports that Scott Young will be an assistant on Team USA's entry in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. Young, a BU assistant the past two season, recently was named director of player development for the Penguins.
