Prospects face off in Buffalo tonight



Tonight’s All American Prospects Game in Buffalo will feature freshman Brady Tkachuk and three 2018 recruits: NTDP U18 forwards Joel Farabee and Tyler Weiss and Jake Wise. Puck drop is at 7 p.m ET and the game will be live-streamed by HockeyTV.com.

"Tkachuk is a dynamic prototype of what a complete package of an NHL prospect looks like," NHL scout  Dan Marr said in advance of the game. "He has speed, skill, athleticism, smarts and competitiveness. He consistently produces and rises to the occasion to excel in all areas of the game."

Looking back
Jack Eichel (Buffalo), Danny O’Regan (San Jose) and Wade Megan (photo, St. Louis) all found the net in NHL exhibition games.  Kevin Shattenkirk (Rangers- three assists) and Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson (Bruins-one assist) had strong opening games, too.

Women’s Team
Season opens tomorrow evening with an exhibition game vs. Concordia at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drops at 7 p.m. Game Day info to be posted tomorrow.

Terriers will spend Thanksgiving weekend in Washington, D.C., participating in the “D1 in DC” two-game event. BU will play Minnesota State on November 24 and Wisconsin on November 25 at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia. Northeastern is the fourth team in the event organized by the Pride Hockey Association.
