Rising sophomore Shane Bowers has been named to Team Canada’s roster for the World Junior Summer Showcase set for late July in Kamloops, British Columbia.  He is one of two NCAA skaters among the 40 players invited. BU has five representatives on Team USA's roster: Brady Tkachuk, Logan Cockerill, David Farrance, Joel Farabee and Jake Wise.

In Nashville, where Dante Fabbro, Patrick Harper and David Farrance have been skating in the Predators’ development camp, former Terrier Jeff Kealty has been promoted to assistant general manager, replacing Paul Fenton, who is now Minnesota’s GM.
