Terriers add a fourth goalie; Roster posted; January exhibition game added

  

BU has added a fourth goalie to the 2026-27 roster, 6’1” Sartej Dhami whose last stop in juniors was with the BCHL Surrey Eagles.

The Calgary native had brief stints last season with the AJHL Bonneyville Pontiacs and Calgary Canucks. His last extensive action came in 2024-25 with Calgary IHA U18 Prep where he had a 2.51 GAA and a .914 save percentage with a 14-4-0 record in 20 games. The previous season, he was with Kelowna Rink HA U17 Prep, fashioning a 1.97 GA and a .937 save percentage in 15 games.

The 2026-27 roster with uniform numbers is now posted on the BU Athletics site.  

Schedule Update: BU will host an exhibition game against McGill on January 3 at Walter Brown Arena. The Terriers' final first semester game is on December 12 against Northeastern and the first game of second semester is four weeks later on January 8 against UMass. 

BU also will play an exhibition game against Brown on Oct. 10, following the season-opening series at Alaska-Fairbanks. A list of home-game start times is here

RecScouting’s Gabriel Foley has posted a ranking of the Top 150 Drafted NHL Prospects. Eight Terriers made the list with six on the current roster: 15-Tynan Lawrence, 16-Malhotra, 49-Cole Eiserman, 65-Mikhail Yegorov, 75-Sacha Boisvert, 128-Niklas Aaram Olsen, 134-Jack Murtagh and 139-Carter Amico.

2027 5-⭐️recruit Carter Meyer began his QMJHL career with a bang, scoring nine seconds into his first preseason game.

2027 recruit Jamie Glance scored his first QMJHL goal on penalty shot in St. John's 4-1 loss to Rimouski. Glance was the NTDP U18s top scorer last season with a 23-33-56 scoring line. 

  

2028 recruit Nikolaev stopped 14 of 15 shots in 40 minutes of action to lead Victoriaville past Drummondville, 3-1.

2028 recruit Norman scored a power play goal in Newfoundland's 5-4 loss to OHL Saginaw. 2027 recruit Brady Knowling stopped all 10 shots he faced in 30 minutes for the Spirit.
 
Knowling will now head to San Jose's rookie camp before returning to Saginaw. The Shark selected the 6'5" netminder out of the NTDP U18s in the fourth round of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. 
 
2027 recruit Alessandro Di Iorio will wear the C for OHL Sarnia as he begins his third season with the Sting. A 2026 third-round draft pick by Columbus, he was rated the Blue Jackets' #9 prospect,  2028 recruit Aucoin also is rostered with Sarnia.
