Terriers play their final game of first semester against the Engineers in a series that dates back to the 1952-53 season. Last year, BU dominated the Engineers, 6-2, in the opening round of the Denver Cup tournament as Jason Lawrence scored two power play goals and four other Terriers added singles.
Tonight’s game, which will feature the fifth annual Teddybear Toss for charity (details) during the second intermission, is being broadcast on NESN and will not be available on All Access.

Looking back
He’s the answer to the trivia question, “What Terrier, other than Matt Gilroy, wore a uniform number above 40?” It was Jason Tapp, a netminder from 1998 to 2002. Tapp went on to a seven-year minor league and overseas career that included stops in The Netherlands, Quad City, Knoxville, Kalamazoo and Corpus Christi, where he was team MVP. Retired from the pro ranks, Tapp is a volunteer assistant coach at Union College working with the Dutchmen’s goalies.
