Sophomore David Warsofsky, playing for Team USA in the World Junior Championships in Regina, has a pair of assists and is +6 after three games--all wins for the American squad. In last night's 12-1 thumping of Slovakia, however, his name was only the scoresheet for a double minor penalty. Team USA takes on Canada tomorrow at 4 p.m. ET in a game that is being televised by NHL Network. Warsofsky will miss BU's first game of the second semester, this Saturday against UMass at Agganis Arena.
BU hockey's first home, The Boston Arena, now Matthews Arena and home ice of Northeastern, is the subject of a feature in today's New York Times.
