Walk-on adds depth at forward

The Boston Hockey Blog reports that BU will add walk-on, Jake Moscatel, to bolster depth at forward follow two roster departures last week. Moscatel, a 6-1, 210, forward, enrolled at BU a year ago after spend a year and half at Division III University of New England, where he scored seven goals and six assists in his first season with the Nor'Easters.

Previously he skated for The Belmont Hill School, where he was a two-time ISL all-league selection, and the EJHL Boston Junior Bruins. Since his transfer to BU, Moscatel has played for the Terrier club team and becomes the second former club player to join the varsity. The other is sophomore goalie Anthony Moccia.

With the addition of Moscatel and junior Ryan Santana's recovery from an injury that sidelined him all of first semester, BU will have 14 forwards as it resumes its schedule on December 31 with a game at Notre Dame.
