#2 BU takes on #3 BC at 7:30 tonight at TD Garden in the 60th Beanpot Championship. The two team have met for the venerable silver trophy seven previous times since 2000, with BU winning in 2000, 2003, 2005 and 2007. Terriers are playing in the championship game for the 26th time in the past 29 seasons.Terriers have previously taken two out of three regular season Hockey East meetings.
Kieran Millan holds the record for most Beanpot starts by a BU goalie with seven and is one win away from tying for the record for most wins (5) with John Curry, Sean Fields, Scott Cashman and Brian Durocher. Among active Terriers, Alex Chiasson leads in Beanpot points with four including three goals. Wade Megan also has three goals.

Terriers completed a weekend sweep of Vermont by beating the Catamounts, 4-1, yesterday at Walter Brown Arena. Captain Jenn Wakefield scored twice and Shannon Mahoney and Tara Watchorn also added goals. On Saturday, BU doubled up Vermont 8-4 behind two goals apiece by Isabel Menard and Wakefield.
