Freshman Matt Lane played in last night’s All-American
Prospects Game in Buffalo, contributing an assist and was +2 in a 5-2 Team
McClanahan win. Prior to the game, Lane, who is from nearby Rochester,
talked with USA Hockey Magazine.

Four former Terriers are head coaches in the 2012 New
England Fall Prep Hockey League: Brian McGuirk, Dan Ronan, Kevin Schaeffer and
Ryan Weston.
Millan and Dave Van der Gulik are on the training
camp roster of the AHL/Lake Erie Monsters. Van der Gulik has seen NHL action
with the Avalanche during the past two NHL seasons.
Others in AHL camp includes: Eric Gryba,
Binghamton Senators (whose assistant coach is former BU captain Steve
Stirling); Brian Strait, Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins (Strait made nine NHL starts
last season ) and John McCarthy and Sean Sullivan, Worcester Sharks.

Women's Team
The Terriers played the first of three exhibition games on their schedule, thumping McGill, 4-1.at Walter Brown Arena today. Second period goals by freshmen Rebecca Russo (shorthanded) and Jordan Juron gave BU a lead and they tacked on third-period goals by Kayla Tutino and Jill Cardella.

BU was without three forwards, senior Jenelle
Kohanchuk, junior Marie-Philip Poulin and freshman Sarah Lefort, who are
participating at Canadian Women’s National Team camp in Calgary. Also in the camp are three former Terriers, Jenn Wakefield, Tara
Watchorn, and Catherine Ward. In a 3-1 exhibition
game win against the UFA Bisons, Lefort provided Canada’s margin of victory
with two goals in a 22-second span, assisted both times by Poulin.
