Looking ahead
On New Year’s Eve,
2015 recruits Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson of Omaha and Robert Carpenter of Sioux
City each scored once in regulation and then were successful in the shootout;
but JFK’s Lancers came
out on top, 4-3. For Forsbacka-Karlsson,
it was his 10th goal of the season and his ninth in 12 games, as
well as his second shootout goal in three games. Carpenter’s
goal was his 12th of the season. The two future Terriers, who are tied
for 8th in USHL scoring with 27 points, were selected to
participate in the USHL/NHL Top
Prospects game on January 13.
2016 recruit Kieffer Bellows’ goal in Sioux Falls’ 3-1 win over Tri-City was his 11th of the season as well as his fifth in his past five games. He leads the Stampede in goal scoring.
Looking back
Former BU captain
Wade Megan assisted on a pair of goals for AHL San Antonio as the Rampage
doubled up Utica, 8-4.
Women’s Team
Three current
Terriers and two former ones will skate for Canada in the 2015
Nations Cup. BU senior captain Marie-Philip Poulin, senior Shannon Doyle
and freshman Victoria Bach will be joined by Kaleigh Fratkin and Louise Warren
for the tournament in Fussen, Germany, January 3-6.
