Doyle Somerby, who scored the game-winner in Friday’s 3-2 victory against Michigan, and assistant captain Danny O’Regan were named to Hockey East’s Weekly List of Top Performers.
The BostonHockey Blog reports that Sean Maguire will start in goal Tuesday night against
Bentley and that Captain Matt Grzelcyk, injured Saturday against Michigan, will
sit out the Bentley game. The team hopes to have him back for Saturday’s
game against Cornell.

Looking ahead
The NTDP U17s, whose
roster includes 2017 recruits Brady Tkachuk and David Farrance and 2018 recruit
Logan Cockerill, will play the Detroit Redwings’ alumni on Tuesday in a charity
game benefitting the Plymouth-Canton High School Marching Band. Tkachuk had
a pair of goals for the U17s last weekend and is fifth on the team with a
5-7-12 line.
The U18s, led by 2016
recruits Clayton Keller (37 points) and Kieffer Bellows (27 points), have two
college games on the schedule this week: Adrian College on Wednesday and
Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Sunday.

earned the NHL’s third
star of the week for his 2-4-6 effort in four games for the Blues.
Women’s Team
Senior Sarah Lefort and
sophomore Victoria Bach were named Warrior Co-Players of the Week by Hockey
East. Lefort, who last week became BU’s
new career goal-scoring leader, assisted on six Terrier goals during the two-game sweep of Merrimack. Bach, who earned Hockey East Rookie of the Year honors
last season, rang up a hat trick in Friday’s win and an assist in Saturday’s
victory.
