Kevin Shattenkirk’s overtime goal gave Washington a 3-2 win over defending champion Pittsburgh, cutting the Penguins’ series lead to 2-1.

New York Times writer and blog contributor Neal Boudette has authored an insightful examination of Penguins head coach and former Terrier captain Mike Sullivan. The article appears in the Spring 2017 issue of Bostonia Magazine. We're also adding it to the list of Terrier Tales in the sidebar.

2018 recruit Tyler Weiss, a Raleigh, North Carolina native, whose hockey path has taken him to Ontario and Michigan, is profiled by the News & Observer. Two seasons ago, the left-shot forward racked up 63 points for the Don Mills Minor Midget and then had 30 points last season for the NTDP U17s. He was one of four future Terriers on the U17s, along with Jake Wise, Joel Farabee and Jack DeBoer.

2020 recruit Cade Webber was selected #5 overall, by Madison, in the USHL Phase 1 draft. Webber, who had declined an invitation to join the NTDP U17s, played last season at The Rivers School where he was coached by former BU All-American Shawn McEachern.  In the second round, 2020 recruit Braden Doyle was selected by Dubuque and 2020 recruit Liam Connors was taken by Tri-City. Doyle skates for Lawrence Academy and Connors plays for St. Sebastian’s.  Prior to the draft, 2019 recruit Robert Mastrosimone signed a tender with the Chicago Steel after spending two seasons at Shattuck St. Mary’s.
