#12/11 Terriers hope to make it two in a row against conference rivals as they host #15 Northeastern at Agganis Arena tonight. Puck drop is at 7 p.m. The 4-2-1 Huskies didn't play last night and are coming off a sweep of Lowell last weekend.
Northeastern has Hockey East's top-scoring offense, averaging 4.43 goals per game, led by conference scoring leaders Dylan Sikura (2.00 ppg) and Adam Gaudette (1.86). Defenseman Jeremy Davies is tied for the lead among blueliners with 1.29.
Last season, BU tied the Huskies, 4-4, at Matthews Arena and then defeated them, 3-0, at Agganis in regular season play. In the Hockey East quarterfinals, BU won a pair of 3-2 games over Northeastern to advance to the conference semifinals.
