Hockey East honors for Oettinger, Correia


Jake Oettinger was named co-winner of Hockey East’s Defensive Player of the Week award after stopping 48 of 49 shots in the two-game sweep of Vermont. It was his second DPOW award of the season. Oettinger's shutout of the Catamounts on Friday was the 12th of his BU career, just one behind co-leaders Jack Ferreira and John Curry. Chad Krys was named to the weekly list of top performers.

2019 recruit Liam Gorman (St. Sebastian’s) and 2020 recruit Cade Webber (The Rivers School) have been named to the NEPSAC All-East team.



2019 recruit Braden Doyle assisted on three goals in Lawrence Academy’s 10-3 win against Tabor.

Women’s Team

Freshman Courtney Correia has been named Hockey East Rookie of the Week.  She scored the game-winner in BU’s 3-1 win against UConn.  Correia, who has 14 points this season, and the Terriers begin their best-of-three Hockey East quarterfinal series against New Hampshire on Friday evening at Walter Brown Arena.
