Season ends as tournaments are cancelled

The Terriers' 2019-20 season has concluded as Hockey East and the NCAA have cancelled their post-season tournament due to the Coronavirus epidemic. This includes the Women''s NCAA championships that were to be held at Agganis Arena.

BU finishes with a 13-13-8 record. With 43 points (14G,29A), junior David Farrance was sixth in Division 1 scoring and tops among defensemen. Senior Patrick Harper was tied for 18th with 37 points. Trevor Zegras, with 36 points, was third among all freshman skaters. Senior captain Patrick Curry led the team in goals with 19.

The Hockey News' Futures Edition ranked the top 100 hockey prospects. Zegras is #2.

Congratulations to the BU men's basketball team for winning its first Patriot League championship. The Terriers defeated defending champion and top seed Colgate, 64-61, at Hamilton where the Raiders had lost only twice previously during the past two seasons.
