Looking back 

 Former BU All-American Chris Drury has been promoted to associate general manager of the New York Rangers. He had joined the Rangers as director of player development in 2015 and was named assistant GM in Sept. 2016. He also serves as general manager of New York's AHL affiliate in Hartford.

The 1998 Hobey Baker Memorial Award winner had recently been mentioned as a possible general manager for the Penguins, but elected to remain in New York.
