Following
four out-of-conference games, BU returns to Hockey East action with a two-game
home series with Vermont. Tonight’s game begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be
streamed on TerrierTV (subscribers). The teams meet again Saturday in a 4 p.m. start.
The Boston
Hockey Blog reports that Sean Maguire will start tonight’s game in goal,
following his 3-0 shutout of Bentley last week. Captain Matt Grzelcyk has not
been cleared to play so the defense pairings should remain the same as in the
past two games. While the second and third lines provided the goals at Madison
Square Garden, BU’s offense continues to be led by the first line of seniors
Danny O’Regan (4-13-17) and Ahti Oksanen (7-6-13) and freshman Jakob Forsback
Karlsson (photo, 4-9-13).
A
look at the Catamounts scoring leaders reveals some familiar names. Former
Terrier Alex Privitera is second in scoring with seven points, one point ahead
of his brother Jarrid and two ahead of Liam Coughlin, both of whom were
one-time BU recruits. Junior Mario Puskarich tops the list with 12 points.
Last
season, the Terriers visited Burlington and swept the two games, 4-2 and 2-1 on
a Jack Eichel overtime goal.

San Jose. The Marshfield, Massachusetts native finished +1 for the evening in
a game that also featured the Pens’ Nick Bonino and the Sharks’ Matt Nieto.
