Three Terriers were named to the Hockey East weekly list of Top Performers: Danny O’Regan (game-winner vs. Bentley); Sean Maguire (shut out of Bentley); and Jordan Greenway (first college goal, scored at MSG).

Terriers remain at #11 in the USCHO weekly poll and at #12 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.

HockeysFuture named O’Regan the Sharks’ Prospect of the Month.

NHL Network will broadcast all Team USA games in the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championships in Helsinki, beginning with a Dec. 26 match-up with Canada. Current Terriers Jordan Greenway, Charlie McAvoy (photo) and Brandon Fortunato, along with 2016 recruit Chad Krys participated in Team USA’s summer evaluation camp. The final selection camp will be held at BU's Walter Brown Arena beginning Dec. 15.

Brandon Hickey (photo) and Providence defenseman Jake Walman are the sole NCAA players invited to Canada’s  junior national team selection camp that begins in Ontario in a few weeks.

Looking ahead

On Sunday, 2016 recruit Clayton Keller assisted on two goals and linemate Kieffer Bellows assisted on one as the NTDP U18s beat Wisconsin—Stevens Point, 5-2. The win improved the U18s’ record against NCAA teams to 6-1-1. Keller and Bellows lead the team in scoring with 42 (15G, 27A) and 30 points (18G, 12A) respectively.

Looking back

Former BU captain, All-American and member of the 2009 national championship team Kevin Shattenkirk looked back on his NTDP experience prior to joining the Terriers in 2007.  The Blues defenseman is one of seven BU defensemen from the NTDP who have reached the NHL. The others are Ryan Whitney, Freddy Meyer, Brian Strait, Colby Cohen, David Warsofsky and Adam Clendening.
