Sophomore
wing Jordan Greenway is Hockey East’s Warrior Player of the Week and freshman
goalie Jake Oettinger was named Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week after they led
BU to a pair of weekend wins at Agganis Arena.
The
6’5” Greenway scored the game-winning goal in each of the Terrier victories
against Sacred Heart and #4 Quinnipiac, and he also had a primary assist in both games. Oettinger
authored back-to-back shutouts of the Pioneers (7-0) and Bobcats (3-0) with 46
total saves. Three weeks into the season, he owns the top goals-against (1.42)
and save percentage (.947) numbers among Hockey
East netminders. Nationally, the Lakeville, Minn, native is third in GAA
and fifth in save percentage.
Earlier
this season, freshmen Patrick Harper and Clayton Keller claimed the Player of
the Week and Rookie awards respectively.
Junior blueliner John MacLeod, with three assists and +4 for the weekend,
was named to Hockey East’s weekly list of top performers.
UPDATE: Oettinger's twin shutouts earned him the NCAA's #2 star of the week:
