Attending
his third Minnesota Wild development camp, Jordan Greenway talked with the
media about raising his game further in his junior season at BU and hopes to be
invited to play on the US Olympic team. He’s also sporting a new look.
He towered over most of the 40-plus other prospects during the on-ice sessions, uncorking blistering shot after blistering shot, while hauling up and down the ice like a freight train. He was even more conspicuous off the ice, confidently rocking a bleach blonde Mohawk, which he said was inspired by New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

After
two All-Star seasons in the KHL, former BU captain and Hobey Baker Award winner
Matt Gilroy signed a one-year
contract with Jokerit’s KHL team. The fifth member of BU’s 2009 NCAA
championship squad defense corps with a new contract, Gilroy scored 38 points
last season for Moscow Spartak. He is reportedly a strong candidate for the
U.S. Olympic team.
