Junior
Bobo Carpenter spent the past week at New Jersey Devils development camp, where
he was a member of the winning team in the Devils’ 3-on-3 tournament. His
father, Bobby Carpenter, won the Stanley Cup as a Devils’ player in 1995 and
again in 2003 as a New Jersey assistant coach.
Sophomore Chad Krys heads to his second Blackhawks development camp on Monday. A 2016 second-round draft pick, the left-shot defenseman is on the preliminary roster for the U.S. Junior National Team that will play in the 2018 World Junior Championships.

Terriers Robert Mastrosimone, a 2019 recruit, and Cade Webber (photo), 2020, have been
named to the U.S. Select 16 team that will complete in the Five Nations Tournament
in the Czech Republic beginning August 23. Former Terrier and current USA
Hockey Manager of Youth Programs Ken Rausch will serve as team manager.
Mastrosimone
(Chicago Steel), Webber (The Rivers School) and 2020 recruit Liam Connors all
skated in Thursday’s Select 16 Development Camp All-Star game. Connors (St.
Sebastian’s) tied for fifth in scoring for the camp with 3-4-7. A fourth future
Terrier, 2019 defenseman Braden Doyle (Lawrence Academy) also participated at
the Select 16 camp.
