Following last night's 6-1 at UConn, #2 BU will look to complete its fifth sweep of a conference weekend series tonight at Agganis Arena. Puck drop is at 7 p.m. with ESPN+ providing the live stream.
BU has now clinched home ice for the Hockey East tournament quarterfinals on March 16. One more Terrier win--or a Maine loss--will mean BU can finish no worse than second in the conference race. Terriers trail first-place BC by one point.
UConn will be without its leading scorer, Chase Bradley, tonight, following Hockey East's announcement of a one-game suspension. Bradley was given a game misconduct for slashing (his second slashing penalty of the game) last night.
BU has a few lineup changes, too. Ty Gallagher and Dylan Peterson are out and freshmen Doug Grimes and Mick Frechette step in. (See line sheet below).

Looking back
Forty-four years ago today, the U.S. Olympic Hockey Team completed its "Miracle" run to the gold medal in Lake Placid, defeating Finland. Team USA got major contributions from the "BU Four"--captain Mike Eruzione, Jim Craig, Jack O'Callahan and David Silk-- including Eruzione's game-winner in the upset victory over the Soviet Union.
In the gold-medal game, the U.S. came from behind as it had against the Russians and in preliminary round games.
