Game Day: Terriers at Merrimack

BU travels to North Andover tonight for its first conference game, visiting Merrimack for a 7 p.m. start at Lawler Rink. After last night’s high-octane offensive performance by both teams, BU may find itself in a low-scoring defensive contest.

Merrimack is 1-3-0 after dropping a 3-2 decision to Army last weekend. The Warriors have scored just seven goals in the four games, but have given up only nine—and five of them came in their first game. Junior Tyler Irvine leads the ‘Mack with 2-2-4. Seniors Craig Patano (1.74 GAA) and Drew Vogler (3.04) have split the goaltending duties.
