Farrance signs with Nashville; Cockerill, Kaufman, Amonte to return UPDATED

Senior assistant David Farrance has signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators, who drafted him in the third round of the 2017 entry draft. A two-time Hobey Baker Top Ten Finalist and 2020 First Team All-American, he scored 16 points in his shortened senior season after leading all D1 defensemen in points (43), goals (14) and power-play goals (9) a season ago. His 1.26 pointer per game led all NCAA defensemen and was the highest recorded by a Hockey East blueliner in the past 25 years.

In Nashville, he'll join his former Terrier teammate, Dante Fabbro, and will be coached by another Terrier, Head Coach John Hynes, who says Farrance will immediately be added to the team's taxi squad while he acclimates to the pro game.
