UPDATED The New Arrivals on Commonwealth Ave.; Terrier Trivia Quiz

BU Athletics has begun rolling out the 13 newcomers--freshmen and transfers--to the 2025-26 Terrier roster. They're announcing a few each day via Twitter and we'll update this post as new Tweets are made. You can read more about each one in the sidebar "Recruits & Transfers" section.

If you haven't seen the updates to Monday's post, be sure to check out ERod's 2nd Cup Day with his family and clips of Max Lacroix playing goal for the Avalanche alumni against the Denver alums

The Blackhawks #1 pick (18th overall) led UND in scoring as a freshman with 18-14-32, second only to Cole Eiserman in goals by a first year-player.

BU Hockey Stats posted:

For the first time in program history, BU will have the reigning Rookies of the Year of two different conferences on their roster, with NCHC ROY Sacha Boisvert joining HEA and National ROY Cole Hutson.

A Flyers' draft pick and the only senior on the Terriers this season, Owen McLaughlin was second in scoring for UND (5-25-30 with just six penalty minutes) last season and generated 84 points in his three seasons in Grand Forks.

The 6'5", 225 lb., right-shot defenseman from Maine was selected #38 overall by the Flyers in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. He continues the BU tradition of standout blueliners who played for the NTDP that began with Pat Aufiero

Other Mainers to skate in Scarlet? John Laliberte, 1993-94 captain Doug Friedman and Travis Roy.

A versatile forward who played all three forward positions for the NTDP U18s (13-`4-27 in 40 games), Conrad Fondrk joins Jack Harvey as Minnesota natives on the roster. Drafted #50 overall by New Jersey in the 2025 NHL draft, he attended Devils development camp last month with his new teammate, Mikhail Yegorov.

A power forward with a quick release shot, 6'1", 198 wing Jack Murtagh skated on the NTDP U18s' top line (22-31-53 in 56 games). Philadelphia snapped him up at #40--two slots after Amico--making him the third Flyers' pick among the newcomers.

6'2", 200 right defenseman Charlie Trethewey is the fourth NTDP product in the 2025 class. Known as a mobile, physical player who can quarterback a power play, he put up a 6-14-20 line last season. Drafted in third round (#73 overall) by Pittsburgh, Trethewey was second NTDP defenseman taken in the draft after Amico.
