Sascha Boisvert made his NHL debut on Thursday, skating for the Blackhawks in a loss to the Flyers. He’s the 104th Terrier to reach the NHL and the fifth to play for Chicago this season, joining Alex Vlasic, Matt Grzelcyk, Ryan Greene and Drew Comesso. Boisvert is also the 24th Terrier to play in the NHL this season. He has no points in two games, but had his first fight in last night’s loss to the Rangers.

Gavin McCarthy made his AHL debut earlier in the week as Rochester doubled up Hartford, 6-3. His brother Case McCarthy, who also captained the Terriers, plays for Hartford but was not in the lineup.
Looking ahead
2026 recruit Caleb Malhotra scored twice to lead Brantford to a 6-3 win over Sudbury in the first game of their playoff series. His first tally, on the power play, was the game-winner, while his second was unassisted. Malhotra had 29 goals and 84 points in the regular season.

2027 recruit Egor Shilov scored twice for Victoriaville but the Tigers dropped a 5-3 decision to Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the first game of their playoff series. He had a 32-50-62 line in 63 regular-season games.

2027 recruit Brady Knowling stopped 43 of 46 shots, including 17 in the third period as the NTDP U18s defeated Muskegon, 5-3. 2027 recruit Jamie Glance notched his 19th goal for the U18s while Carter Amico assisted on the Lumberjacks’ second goal. Glance has a 19-24-43 scoring line.

Looking back
Quinn Hutson scored his 27th goal and added an assist as Bakersfield dropped a 7-4 decision to San Diego. Hutson has 54 points in 57 games, third best among AHL rookies.
