Game Day - Season Opener vs. Providence

The Terriers will officially kick off their 2012-2013 season 7 pm tonight at Agganis Arena against Providence College.  BU dropped the opening game of the series last year, but won the final two games convincingly.  Wade Megan and Matt Nieto had 6 and 7 points in the series last year, respectively.

Providence was picked to finish 6th (tie) in the Hockey East coaches' poll, and is looking to rebound from a year that started well but ultimately fell apart.  As a freshman last year, Ross Mauermann led the team in scoring and is a key returnee.
