Terriers moved up a notch, from 11th to 10th, in both the USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls.

Four Terriers made the Hockey East Online Weekly Top Performers list: Sean Escobedo, Sean Maguire, Wade Megan and Danny O’Regan.

Looking Back
Kieran Millan was named CHL Goalie of the Week after stopping 48 of 49 shots in a pair of wins for the Colorado Cutthroats. After shutting out Arizona, Millan made 26 saves in regulation—and all three in a shootout—,as the Cutthroats, beat the Sun Dogs again, 2-1.

Former BU and U.S. Olympic captain Mike Eruzione will receive a special honor in his hometown of Winthrop, Mass., when the skating facility where he learned to skate, is renamed for him. The new name will be “The Larsen Rink at the Mike Eruzione Center.”

Women’s Team
Terriers, now 6th in the USCHO poll, have defeated four teams currently in the top 10.

Senior Jenelle Kohanchuk was named Hockey East Online Player of the Week, after scoring six points (3G, 3A) including a five-point night against Providence. Kerrin Sperry earned a share of Defensive Player of the Week honors after stopping 38 of 40 shots in two wins. Sarah Lefort, Marie-Philip Poulin and Louise Warren made the top perfomers list.
