A
week after earning Hockey East’s Defensive Player of the Week honors, freshman
goalie Jake Oettinger was named Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week for a second
time this season. The Edina, Minnesota native blanked Vermont on Saturday night,
stopping all 28 shots, and put up a 1.52 GAA and a .930 save percentage for the
weekend series.
Clayton
Keller, who returned to the BU line-up after missing seven games, earned a spot
on the weekly top performers list after scoring a goal and an assist and
winning 24 of 36 faceoffs in the two-game series.
Terriers
slipped one spot, to #6, in both the USCHO
and USA Today/USA Hockey
Magazine polls.
