Five Terriers are on the Team USA roster for the new World Junior Summer Showcase, a four-team tournament organized by USA Hockey as a first step for picking the 2018 Junior National Team that will defend the title in the World Junior Championships. Sophomores Jake Oettinger and Patrick Harper (photo), returnees from last year’s Junior National Team, are joined on the showcase roster by classmate Chad Krys and incoming freshmen Brady Tkachuk and Logan Cockerill.  Former Terrier Kieffer Bellows is also rostered for Team USA.

The tournament in Plymouth, Michigan, set for the first week of August, will also have teams from Canada, Finland and Sweden. BU sophomore Dante Fabbro is a returnee for Canada, while freshman  Kasper Kotkansalo, who played for the 2017 gold medal Finland squad, is expected to return as well.
