The 2017 NHL Entry Draft begins today in Chicago. Current or
future Terriers were ranked by NHL Central Scouting: Among North American skaters:
Shane Bowers (16, photo), David Farrance (46), Cameron Crotty (89), Kasper Kotkansalo
(92), 2018 recruit Ryan O’Connell (208) and Logan Cockerill (214).
Jake Oettinger is the top ranked North American goalie
prospect. He spoke with USCHO’s Jim Connelly summing up his draft
expectations: “Whatever happens, happens.”

►Tickets for Red Hot Hockey go on sale to the public at Noon E.T. today. The November 25 contest at New York's Madison Square Garden is the sixth edition of the series matching BU with Cornell. The long-time rivals will be competing for the Kelley-Harkness Cup, named for legendary coaches at each school. BU has won three times (2007, 2011, 2013) and tied twice (2009, 2015)

2016-17 captain Doyle Somerby and Matt Lane (photo) are the latest
additions to the Terrier roster for the 3rd Annual Comm Ave. Charity
Classic, set for July 14 at Walter Brown Arena.
Current and former NHL/AHL players from BU and BC face off
in this alumni game. All proceeds benefit Compassionate Care ALS and The TravisRoy Foundation in memory of Dick Kelly, Coach Jim Cotter, Ron Perryman and
Richard Armstrong and in honor of Pete Frates and Travis Roy. Since its
inception in 2015, the Comm Ave Charity Classic has raised more than $100,000
for ALS and the Travis Roy Foundation.
