2023-24 schedule features Quinnipiac, Notre Dame, North Dakota & Cornell

The defending Hockey East Champion Terriers announced their 2023-24 full-season schedule Thursday. The 34 regular-season game campaign features 15 home games—highlighted by a Thanksgiving Eve match-up with 2023 national champion Quinnipiac—and 16 away games plus three contests at neutral sites: the ninth edition of Red Hot Hockey against Cornell at Madison Square Garden and The Beanpot. A pair of home-ice exhibition games feature an early-season visit by the NTDP U18s and a January game with Simon Fraser.

BU opens on the road against Bentley on Oct. 7 with the home opener against UMass on Oct. 27. The Hockey East schedule again has 24 games.

The out-of-conference schedule also includes a two-game series at Notre Dame (Oct. 20 & 21), a pair of home games against North Dakota (Nov. 3 & 4) and a single game at Yale (Dec. 29). North Dakota last visited Agganis Arena in 2013.

The BU-Cornell game on Saturday evening, Nov. 25, follows an afternoon game at MSG with the Bruins facing the Rangers.

The Oct. 14 NTDP exhibition will be a family reunion with sophomores Lane Hutson and Quinn Hutson facing off against younger brother Cole Hutson, a 2024 recruit.
