“I was really happy BC won,” said Parker, who retired in 2013. “I have never rooted for BC in my life. But I thought it was pretty cool that BC won, because now it’s a BC, BU, Denver, Michigan group that’s in the Frozen Four, and that’s big time college hockey right there. What I always refer to as brand-name college hockey.”

BHB's Belle Fraser explores Ryan Greene's stellar season, invaluable contributions to BU's success and his expanding role as a 200-foot player.
“I feel like I’ve been able to play in a lot of situations this year. I feel like they’ve put a little more trust in me,” Greene said Friday after practice. “Obviously it’s something that I embrace, and I just try to give my all every game and help the team win.”

Terriers vs. Pioneers
Thursday's match-up with Denver will be the third meeting of the teams in the Frozen Four semifinal. In 1960, DU claimed a 6-4 win at Boston Arena (now Matthews Arena).
Eleven years later, the top-ranked Terriers used their speed to outclass a much bigger Denver squad. DU took an early lead but the Terriers responded with goals from "Toot" Cahoon and Wayne Gowing. Cahoon, who later was a BU assistant coach and head coach at Princeton and UMass, added two more tallies to complete his hat trick. Dan Brady stopped 23 shots and BU killed four second-period power plays.

2024 recruits Cole Eiserman and Kamil Bednarik each recorded a goal and an assist in the NTDP U18s’ 4-2 win over Muskegon. Eiserman, who assisted on Bednarik’s 24th goal, had opened the scoring with his own 49th tally. His two-year total of 117 goals trails Cole Caufield’s program record of 126.
The U18s have completed their domestic schedule and will conclude their season at the IIHF World U18 Championships in in Espoo & Vantaa, Finland beginning on April 26. NHL Network will air all Team USA games.

►2025 recruit Conrad Fondrk scored twice—including his third game-winner—in the NTDP U17s’ 3-1 win over Madison. Fellow recruit Charlie Trethewey assisted on Fondrk’s first tally. With a 20-23-43 line, Fondrk is second on the U7s in scoring, while Trethewey with 35 points is the team’s top-scoring defenseman.
►After the first weekend of BCHL playoffs, 2024 recruit Jack Pridham is tied for the league scoring lead with a 5-1-6 scoring line and 2025 recruit Callum Hughes is right behind him with 2-3-5.

Pridham, who is one of three finalists for the BCHL’s Rookie of the Year award, powered West Kelowna to an 8-2 win over Cranbrook with a hat trick on Friday. Last night he scored twice and added an assist in the Warriors’ 4-3 overtime win. Hughes, who is Pridham’s linemate, tallied a goal and three assists Friday and scored a goal Saturday.
Pridham finished the regular season with a 23-25-48 scoring line. Notable is that 44 of those points came at even-strength. Hughes wasn’t far behind with 42 points.

“Toot” Cahoon mention. Love it. I remember his assistant coaching days at BU (first stint).
Toot played for BU's back-to-back national championship team and was an assistant on the 1978 "Jack Parker's Wiseguys" champs.
Would be great if someone could duplicate his feat of a hat trick vs. DU🙂. Go BU!
