#2 Terriers will face off against the #3 Denver Pioneers in the first semifinal of the 2024 Frozen Four in St. Paul. Game time is 5 p.m. ET for the contest that will air on ESPN2 and be live-streamed on ESPN+. Announcers are John Buccigross and BU All-American Colby Cohen, who was Most Outstanding Player at BU's last national championship in 2009.
The game will match the #1 offense in Division 1--Denver at 4.71 goals per games--against BU at #4 with 4.15. On the defensive side, BU is #9 at 2.44 GPG, while Denver is #26 at 2.83. However, DU's goalie, Matt Davis, backstopped two 2-1 wins for the Pioneers in the Regionals.

April 11 is
the latest calendar when BU has played in the NCAA tournament. It's happened twice,
both times in national championship games: the 2009 CD Miracle overtime win over
Miami and the 2015 gut-punch loss to Providence at TD Garden. Will BU improve
its 4/11 record and then skate again on the 13th?
