Game Day: BU-BC at Conte Forum



Terriers meet archrival BC for the first time this season in a nationally televised (CBS College Sports) game beginning at 4 p.m. ET.


The #2 ranked Eagles are coming off a 2-1 win against Northeastern this past Friday. Parker Milner has inherited the goaltending duties from John Muse and junior Chris Kreider leads BC in scoring with 8-8-16.

Looking ahead
2013 recruit Robbie Baillargeon continues to wield a hot stick for Indiana, registering his second two-goal game in a week for the Ice, who fell to Muskegon, 5-4. The former Cushing Academy standout has found the net five times in his past four games. Recap

Delivering his second strong effort of the weekend, 2012 recruit Matt O’Connor turned aside 19 shots as Youngstown upended defending USHL champ Dubuque, 5-2.

Looking back
Two All-American defensemen from BU’s 2008-09 NCAA championship team—Matt Gilroy and Kevin Shattenkirk—went head to head in St.Louis where the Blues blanked Tampa Bay, 3-0. Shattenkirk scored his second goal of the season.

Women’s team
Terriers picked up a pair of conference points with a 5-2 win against New Hampshire, led by two Isabel Menard goals and Caroline Campbell’s first collegiate goal. After spotting the Wildcats a 1-0 first-period lead, BU scored three times in the middle stanza with goals from Jill Cardella, Kaleigh Fratkin and Menard. After UNH narrowed the margin to 3-2 in the third period, goals by Campbell and Menard put the game away. Goalie Kerrin Sperry stopped 18 shots.
