Trevor Zegras was named Hockey
East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week after scoring a goal and three
assists in wins against Harvard and Northeastern. A second-time ROW winner, he
was plus-four with 10 shots in the two victories. With 17 points in 16 games, Zegras
is the only Hockey East freshman averaging more than a point a game. Patrick
Harper (3G,2A) and Cam Crotty (G,A) were named to the weekly Top Performers
list.

The
good news on Monday continued for Zegras as he and Robert Mastrosimone were
named to the 38-man preliminary roster for the U.S. Junior National Team. They’ll
attend training camp at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, and then travel
to the World Junior Championships site in Ostrava, Czech Republic where the
squad will be pared to 23.

Corinne Schroeder was named Hockey
East Defensive Player of the Week after limiting Boston College to just one
goal in a pair of Terrier wins. She stopped 46 of 47 shots in the wins,
lowering her GAA to 1.39 (5th best in D1) and her save percentage to
.949 (3rd best). It was the second DPOW award this season for the BU netminder, whose
record is now 9-3-1 with two shutouts. Junior Jesse Compher (G,3A) and freshman
Nadia Mattivi (2A) were named to the Hockey East Top Performers list.
