Terriers will be looking for a better performance and result in this afternoon’s rematch with Michigan at Yost Ice Arena. Puck drop is at 5 p.m. for contest that will stream live on BIG10+ (subscription required).

Looking ahead

2023 recruit Cole Hutson assisted on three goals, earning the game’s 2^nd star as the NTDP U17s edged Chicago, 5-4. Kamil Bednarik had an assist for Team USA. 2023 or 2024 recruit Macklin Celebrini scored his 4^th goal for the Steel and 2023 recruit Jack Harvey contributed his 4^th assist.

2023 recruit Anton Castro stopped 30 of 31 shots as Fargo defeated Sioux Falls 5-1. The Mendota Heights, Minn., native yielded only a power play goal and earned the games’ first star honors. After four games, he has a 1.73 GAA and a .940 save percentage.

2023 recruit Doug Grimes scored his 3^rd goal on a power play and added his 3^rd assist in Lincoln’s 6-3 win over Tri-City.

2023 recruit Gavin McCarthy and 2024 recruit Owen Keefe, both defensemen, each had an assist in Muskegon’s 6-3 win against Green Bay.

AJ Greer scored a pair of goals and assisted on a score by Charlie Coyle in the Bruins’ 6-3 win against the Coyotes. Coyle set up Greer’s second into an empty net. Clayton Keller (video) notched his first of the year for Arizona.

Jake Oettinger stopped 29 of 30 shots for Dallas in its 5-1 win against Nashville. It was the second win in as many starts for Oettinger who has a 1.00 GAA.

 

Women’s Team

Terriers dropped the back half of their home and home series with UNH, losing to the Wildcats, 3-2 in overtime, at Walter Brown Arena.

Goal scorers for BU were junior Andi Calderone and senior Julie Nearis.
